Expected Completion: December 2026 (Phase 1)

The Skatepark & Public Plaza Renovation is currently in the In Progress phase (approximately 60% to 85% complete).

Infrastructure Work: Vital underground electrical, plumbing, and fine grading are currently well underway across the site.
Facility Builds: The concrete structure for the renovated restrooms is fully poured ahead of incoming interior finishing work.
Custom Skate Features: California Skateparks is on-site nearly every day actively pouring custom concrete skate elements.
Coordination & Completion: We are managing minor speed bumps from weather and coordinating closely with the upcoming Rink Roof airnasium project to lock in a firm completion date for a grand opening in December 2026.

Phase 2: Coming in Spring 2027. Thanks to generous support from the BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee Foundation, we're adding an airnasium over the roller rink, a brand-new playground, and more next to First Horizon Pavilion. Best of all, the skatepark and dog park will stay open during construction until everything wraps up in fall 2027.

Latest Project Update

October 29, 2026

Our new park is officially 85% complete!

Progress is moving along rapidly, and California Skateparks has now finished the majority of our custom, world-class skateable features. Our crews are currently focused on the final stretch: completing interior finishes on the restrooms, pouring sidewalks, installing the bouldering field, and putting in final landscaping.

We are working closely with all project teams to lock in an exact date, and we are officially aiming for a grand opening in *December 2026*. Thank you so much for your continued patience and excitement as we bring this incredible, long-lasting space across the finish line for our community. Stay tuned for official opening details! For public safety and to allow contractors to safely finalize the project, the skate park remains closed to the public at this time. Please refrain from accessing or using the features until work is fully completed.

Thank you for your cooperation and patience as we work to finish this project for our community.
