A Smarter City Starts with Smarter Ideas
Help shape the future of Chattanooga. Your feedback on neighborhood projects makes a real difference.
Got an idea for a neighborhood project?
Improving the city often starts with someone noticing an opportunity. Project Hub: Ideas is where we collect practical, resident-led suggestions to help shape future public projects across Chattanooga—turning everyday observations or annoyances into real-world solutions.

Project Spotlight

Stairway Bike Rail Installation
A bike rail was added to the stairway between the Art District and Veteran’s Bridge, making it easy for cyclists to walk their bikes up or down without lifting them. The project was the direct result of a resident suggestion to improve cyclists’ experience by better connecting the city’s biking infrastructure.
"This is exactly the kind of small project that makes a big difference for everyday cyclists. It took one resident idea and a few weeks of coordination."

Report a problem with CHA 311
The City of Chattanooga's 311 system makes it easy to submit non-emergency service requests — from maintenance issues at city parks to street-level repairs. Every request is tracked, routed to the right department, and followed-up with a status update.
